DAVID Hockney East Yorkshire landscapes will take charge of the Royal Academy of Arts in London when the new exhibition of paintings, films and images of iPad is open on Saturday.
Many of them are large in scale and created specifically for the main gallery of the Academy of the Kingdom, they form part of the event by 150, which includes the 50 years since he studied at the Bradford.
“The Royal Academy came to me three or four years ago to ask if I was interested in doing the show work I do in Yorkshire,” he recalls.
Receive an invitation, he has earned the opportunity to explore new technologies and an interest in landscape format kept fresh.
