Of course he is. He is against freedom in all its forms. He also supported a State income tax.
We both agree on this. I know it should be a surprise to many. This proposed BILL is a bad law, which goes far beyond what the sponsor of the bill claim. I’ll be polite and say it would likely be unintended consequences.
Rupert Murdoch (News Corp-Fox) is fully supporting this Bill, but not in comments he made clear his deep understanding of Internet technologies is very limited. The law basically attempted to fight the problem using concepts that are more than ten years. The bottom line is that this Bill seems to have the intention to control the content of the Internet, which will be approved by the Government. If passed in its current form the Bill, as the law, would probably be tied up in court for years and was ultimately not implemented.
